Battling Babes 2

 Battling Babes Part2

(warning: adult content)

The Girls & Attire:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: generally, I prefer sporty clothes (eg, tops, tight shorts, etc.) to everyday clothes or business wear; I also appreciate uniform-like attire, which can be as elaborate as sci-fi or army uniforms, to something as simples as black-bikini vs white bikini.

The girls are Daisy (blond) and Angelique (brunette). They alternate between bikinis:

and clingy dresses:

Daisy is clearly more into the scenario than Angelique.

The Numbers:

The video has  six scenes, runs at about 7 mins, and costs 9 USD.

The Action:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: to keep the description from being repetitive, I’ll define beforehand the most common type of acting you find in these genre videos:
Going through the motions – almost no speech or acting, the girls just lie down when they’re shot, usually swaying or writhing for a bit; this can be by design, not necessarily poor acting. I guess it can be preferred by those who tend to find these videos immature.
Over-the-top, in-character– MY FAVORITE: the girls really act out their parts, pretending to dodge, shoot back, with lines like “I’ll get you yet!”, “You’re mine!” or “Argh! U got me!”
Goofy – the girls have a more child’s-play stance, they laugh or giggle, with speech along the lines of “I shot you, cheater!”, “No, you missed!”,etc.

The action is between over-the-top and goofy, but Angelique is mostly going through the motions - a bit of wooden acting there, I'm afraid. Daisy is far more enthusiast, and is generally responsible for the better moments of the video. Although, Angelique does bring something to the video:

Love the panties...

The best scene imho was a shootout with the camera. Angelique falls over the couch, Daisy is shot afterwards, curses at the camera and falls over her friend. Classic.

At least she landed on something soft...

The other scenes move along this format: the girls start off embraced, then Angelique pulls out a previously concealed gun; Daisy is shot and slides down Angelique's body, trying to hang-on, asking "How could you?". Later, she still manages to shoot back at Angelique (not to be too critical, but it's annoying to hear something say "it hurts so much!" with only a faint smile in her face).

The last scene is actually a belly-stabbing of Daisy with a prop-knif (not bad at all), followed by a "suicide" of Angelique using the same method (not my thing).

The Production:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: I’m no expert on digital video, all I can do is tell apart poor picture quality  - grainy or low res –from  normal (as in, not poor ––nor high quality) and HD.

The clip is available in several formats, up to HD. All the action happens in the same room. Unfortunately the girls use handguns without sound effects (apart from the trigger sound, clac-clac) which is not convincing at all. A machine gun with decent sound effect is used in one scene.

The Verdict:

Although it has some definite shortcomings, I'm not sorry I bought it at all. Not awesome, but worth the money.

Simulating a fight against an invisible foe

Randy in Simulating A Fight Against An Invisible Foe

(warning: adult content)

Superbound Fetish Emporium caters to wide range of special interest videos. Among them there are a few toygun vids. This was my first purchase from them.

The video features blond Randy. She fits clearly the adult-actress, "bombshell"stereotype. She is topless in a number of scenes.I feel that she tried to be professional about this video, but I doubt she had much fun shooting it.

She wears several different bikinis:

The Numbers:
This video lasts 11m42s, containing 9 scenes. It costs 9,99 USD.

This is more a "going through the motions" type of acting. The actress does the writhing part well, but the shootouts aren't very inspired,  which might have also have something to do with the fact that she didn't have anyone to respond to, I mean, she was simulating.

If you like scenes where the girls squirms around after being shot, this is right up your alley. For example, the first scene lasts about 2min, but she is shot at around 30s, and then spends the rest of the time rolling around (admittedly she looks good doing it).

The scenes are very similar. Basically she fires a couple of shots at the camera, then gets shot herself. There are a couple of "stabbing" scenes. Here are some highlights:
"Dying" on couch

Knife against sword (scabbard?)

The tongue is a nice touch.

The Production:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: I’m no expert on digital video, all I can do is tell apart poor picture quality  from HD.

HD picture quality. The props aren't very remarkable (like seen above, a scabbard was using instead of proper sword).

The Verdict:

Might be worth it, if you like to see a hot blond writhing and squirming; but those are by far the strongpoints of this video, so if you want something more, it's better to keep looking. Still, it was interesting enough to keep me interested in their videos (being cheap helps), and I'm planning to get their latest offering, starring Randy again, and Cali Logan.

Review: Change of Pace 3 - Part 1

Sleeperkid is an underground producer of wrestling videos (hence the change of pace title for this video). Although he includes famous (in the fetish area) models increasingly more, he still manages to maintain his best quality: good action. The girls throw kicks and punches, and some fairly complex wrestling moves which I'm sure need some training beforehand. So, a good candidate to produce action-packed gunfun videos.

Since the video is long and split in 2 halves, the same will happen to the review.

The video features 4 girls: from left to right, there's Alex, Devon, Eliza and Helena. All are wearing black pants and tops (see for yourself).
There is definitely a "bad girl" vibe going on; the girls are pretty and really get into the action. You get the feeling they were having fun, which is a huge step to get a 5 star video.

The Numbers:
This a massive 1h19m video, with the first part lasting roughly 38m. There are 20+ scenes.
It costs 54 USD

This is very good over-the-top action, with some funny moments here and there. For example, there is a scene where the camera-gunman has all 4 at gunpoint, and is looking for whoever tried to shoot him.  They all try to blame the others while claiming to be mere bystanders. In another scene, 2 are standing guard and one mentions she had a crazy dream where she got shot in the back, and the other mentions that's never a good sign...

Most scenes are replayed with slight variations. Sometimes there is a clear winner(s), other times they all fall down (and sometime there is a winner who gets shot by the cameraman, just to make a bigger body pile!)

Here is a scenario list (not exhaustive!):

  • 3 of the girls are lined up against wall and frisked, the shot by 4th
  • gunman surprises and shoots all 4
  • duel tournament

  • team duel!

  • duel the camera-gunman
  • human shield
  • surprised sentries
  • sentries surprise infiltrators!
  • toy swords duel

  • 3-on-1 sword fight - one of my favorites. I love when overconfident bad girls get the tables turned on them, and Devon here manages to defeat all her assailants.

With 4 actresses in the video, huge body piles are a frequent sight:

The Production:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: I’m no expert on digital video, all I can do is tell if picture quality is decent..

Video quality is decent, but SK wasn't using HD video yet, like he does in later videos. I don't like the machine gun sounds: just a mechanical clac-clac instead of an eletronic daka-daka. But there are a lot of props: 4 machine guns, 2 pistols (at least), and 4 swords. All the action takes place in the same room. The mats covering floor are a huge advantage, since they can drop down without fear of hurting themselves, thus increasing action quality.

The Verdict:

It's a great video,  and this 1st part would almost be worth the 54 USD by itself. But part 2 is coming next.

Review: Toying Around

Toying Around
By Velvets Fantasies

I must come clean and say this video is one of the reasons I started this blog. Even though I look for this kind of stuff, I only found it completely by accident, so I guess it may get overlooked often by gunfun fans - all ten of us :) Which is a shame, since it is probably my favorite video of all time in this genre!

If you like it,  support the producer and buy it, give feedback,  etc. So they can keep putting out quality stuff.

The dress wear is right up my alley, since both girls wear tight tops and shorts (they are supposed be coming home after gym). Jaquelin Velvets is the site owner, who stars in, and produces, a variety of action and  "sleepy" clips. Seen here with blond hair, she wears a black sports short with blue outlined, and a metallic blue top, and gives an energetic performance.

Hit!
Patrolling...
Sumiko is one of my favorite actresses in custom videos. To start with, she is impossibly cute! In biological terms, we tend to find beauty in symmetric and small, well proportioned features, so she really won a lottery in this regard: almond eyes, heart-shaped face, long smooth hair, you name it. But  above all, this petite asian brings a lot of intensity to the scenes. I have never watched  a wooden performance from her, and the fact that she is so expressive in her roles makes her a delight to watch. As you may notice, the title image of this blog was taken from this video.

The Numbers:
This is a 19m video, most of it action (filler almost non-existant).
Costing 14 USD, it features 34 scenes.

The action is Over-the-top and it's superb. They seem to really get into it, looking dangerous when scanning for foes, doing a "fantastic, violent dance" when shot (it was in the clip description, but I loved this expression), a mischievous smile when they manage to get the drop on the other, and stand proudly over the fallen opponent.  Perfect.

There is a good variety of scenes, and they are role-reversed: every scene is played twice, with the girls changing roles.
Taking cover
Ambush

Crawling around

Sneak-up
Sneak-up with Gun jam!

My favorite scene was one in which one of the girls is prone on the floor and looking down the barrel of her gun, only to be surprised by the other, who has her at gunpoint from behind, and signals her presence with a "a-hum". The first girls says "F... I'm so dead!" and tries to bring her gun to bear, only to get blown away. Brilliant!

And the shootouts are energetic, with the girls ending up in a variety of poses:

In the stairs

On a chair

On couch

Bodypile!
Most of the times there is a winner, but as you can see there a are few scenes of mutual destruction.

The Production:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: I’m no expert on digital video, all I can do is tell apart poor picture quality  - grainy or low res –from  good or HD.

Good picture quality. The machine guns look and sound convincing (not real,  more dakka-dakka-dakka). The scenes go all around the house: kitchen,  living room, hallway, etc.

The Verdict:

Buy, buy, BUY! With the usual caveats for personal taste, this is as good as it gets, IMHO. There are nice actresses, nice clothes, good action, and dozens of scenes, so quality/price and quantity/price ratios are very high indeed.

Review: Secret Agent Rivals

Secret Agent Rivals
By Tomiko’s Deadly Store

(warning: adult content)

This was my 2nd purchase from this producer (I plan to review ”Shootout with Dia Zerva and Dragonlily” soon). It didn’t quite live up to the expectations generated by the former, but it’s a decent clip, with some funny moments and unusual garb.

The Girls:

This clip features Dragonlily, an attractive asian who has done some adult work, and Tomiko (who I believe is also a producer), a caucasian brunette.

The Attire:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: generally, I prefer sporty clothes (eg, tops, tight shorts, etc.) to everyday clothes or business wear; I also appreciate uniform-like attire, which can be as elaborate as sci-fi or army uniforms, to something as simples as black-bikini vs white bikini.

Both girls wear skin-tight spandex bodysuits: Dragonlily looks flashier in her shiny (metallic) orange suit, compared to Tomiko’s simple black one.

The Numbers:
It’s a 12m40s video, costing 13 USD. It features 9 “kills”/KOs. About 25% of the video length is filler – intro screen, story explanation, etc. It’s inevitable and sometimes it adds to the video, but here, unfortunately, it feels too much.

The Action:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: to keep the description from being repetitive, I’ll define beforehand the most common type of acting you find in these genre videos:
Type 1: going through the motions – almost no speech or acting, the girls just lie down when they’re shot, usually swaying or writhing for a bit; this can be by design, not necessarily poor acting. I guess it can be preferred by those who tend to find these videos immature.
Type 2: in-character, over-the-top – MY FAVORITE: the girls really act out their parts, pretending to dodge, shoot back, with lines like “I’ll get you yet!”, “You’re mine!” or “Argh! U got me!”
Type 3: goofy – the girls have a more child’s-play stance, they laugh or giggle, with speech along the lines of “I shot you, cheater!”, “No, you missed!”,etc.

The story is a classic one: the girls are competing to see who the better spy for the Organization is. The action is Type 2: they act bitchy when talking to each other, proclaim to the watcher they are the best when they shoot the other girl, and most importantly squeal, grunt and squirm when they are shot.

There seems to be some kind of crotch fixation, in 2 or 3 of the shootings. For example, at one point Tomiko actually cries out “She’s machine-gunning my crotch” J
Probably this was a custom video, so it would be a request from the client. But even if crotch shots say nothing to you, it’s not too prevalent, so it is still possible to enjoy the video.

I would rate the acting 4/5: the spirit is definitely there, but sometimes you feel that something is missing, something which make the scene truly great.
Tomiko especially has some nice reactions (twitching feet, clenching fists, it’s the little things…), and I should note a priceless moment: she gets shot while leaning against a piano, then staggers around, plays a few notes of Beethoven’s “Fur Elise” and ends with a twang, falling down. Very funny and over-the-top, it’s one of the highlights of this video.

At the end, the Organization guy steps from behind the camera and knocks out both with chloroform rags, declaring they make better bait than agents.

One major weakness: there isn’t much variety in scenario, or location (meaning, it all goes on in front of the same sofa!).

The Production values:
My viewpoint & disclaimer: I’m no expert on digital video, all I can do is tell apart poor picture quality  - grainy or low res –from  normal (as in, not poor nor high quality) and HD.

Good picture quality, good props.

The Verdict:

Not a bad effort, but even though it’s not expensive I didn’t feel I got a lot of “bang” (so to speak) for my buck. If you’re an avid collector go ahead, if you can only buy one toygun video, there are better choices, even from the same producer, as I hope to present soon.

Yet another disclaimer: this is just my own, biased opinion; picture or videos may not reflect image quality; all rights belong to the above identified producer.

A word to the wise

This blog aims to gather links and  reviews from a very specific niche of video productions, which came to be known as "toygun" or "gunfun".

Like almost everyone, everywhere , I played some cops & robbers, or cowboys & indians games with my neighborhood friends, when we were kids. Sometimes even girls would join in with the boys, also running around, shootings machine guns or bows and arrows and stuff.

However,  I was surprised to discover that some people actually make videos depicting such fun and games, with the added twist of featuring scantily clad women in them! And even more surprised to discover that I found them strangely fascinating.

Where does this fascination come from? Is it nostalgia, or a desire to go back to childhood, wishing human relations were so simple like they seemed back then?
Is it some kind of role-reversal? Running around, fighting and shooting, is something usually reserved for men.
Is it a power, or dominance, fantasy? After all, the loser has to lie there, helpless to whatever happens to them... Or it may be simply an excuse to see jiggling chests and shaking backsides (it's no coincidence that almost  all these videos feature long machine gunnings...), without the subconscious guilt of watching something overtly sexual. Or all of the above, or none of them!

An important point is that these videos, as I understand them, aren't supposed to be realistic. There should be no blood at all (although over the top buckets of fake blood can be loads of fun in their own right :)They should have at most stylized violence. Over-acting is par the course. And the "victims" will get up and join the fight again.

It goes without saying that real violence and guns, against anyone (but women in particular) is not the point of these videos,  and should be condemned and fought against at every opportunity.

So, if you are a fan of girls with their toyguns, or just find the concept intriguing, read on...
